LHSSL
to the Lincoln Hills Senior Softball League. We offer Co-ed, Women’s, and Tournament teams. Our season typically runs from mid-April to mid-August, followed by two weeks of playoffs. Play days are Monday and Wednesday for Co-ed and Sunday for Women. We typically field 10 Co-ed teams. Fun Ball is also included and goes from October to December.

Upon input from the Chief Umpire and several other umpires during the games on Opening Day, the new rule allowing base runners at first and third base to ask permission from the Home Plate umpire active in the game to stand farther in foul territory from the base to avoid injury has not accomplished what was hoped to insure safety. In fact, this rule has made it more chaotic and not safer for the player at all, perhaps even more dangerous and confusing with increased activity around those bases.
Your Board met remotely and unanimously voted to revoke and remove this Rule III K immediately.
